About us
• INTERNATIONAL REGISTER OF QUALITY ASSESSED PROFESSIONALS •

The International Register of Quality Assessed Professionals (IRQAP) was established in 2005 to provide a reference to professionals who
hold certification thus validating their proficiency and professional qualifications.

To ensure stringent quality control we only list certificates that have been awarded by a credible third-party assessment bodies. Personnel who have achieved qualification in a field related to operational excellence are also listed.

Conformity assessment bodies (CABs) are certification bodies, or certifiers, who conduct third-party assessments of individuals. This may be a quality management system used by an individual who has achieved a training qualification.

Conformity assessment bodies are given special access by IRQAP to list certificates that they have issued.

IRQAP is a registration and validation service. We do not assess or approve assessment bodies, organisations or individuals. This is done by the assessment bodies using IRQAP's services.

Yes - some personal qualifications are listed on a ‘non-expiring’ basis but most listings are for a period of one year and then may be renewed.

The expiry date of some certificates may be 3, 5 or 10 years. However, a listing on IRQAP is for one year and will be removed unless the listing is renewed by the third-party assessment body. This ensures that any required surveillance or continuous personal development has been conducted.

We do not believe there is a universal search engine that has the same facilities as IRQAP and credibility that is not restricted by accreditation body type, not requiring registration to search and free to view.

IRQAP is a platform not a publisher. The information presented is provided by our registered certifiers, institutes or agents according to confidentiality agreements already in place with the registered organisation.

However, you can request the registered certifiers, institutes or agents who listed you to restrict publication to various degrees of openness or confidentiality. If you do not know who has provided your organisations details to our platform, please contact us directly with any requirements for removal or redactions.

No, we recommend you ask your certificate issuing body to contact IRQAP to discuss becoming an registered certifier.

Registrant’s certificate details are loaded to the site by certification bodies and training institutes (who pay to use the website) because they understand that listing in the IRQAP brings benefits to registrants.
